Subscription Terms

This document discloses how AstroNum subscriptions and one-time in-app purchases work. It complies with Apple App Store Review Guideline 3.1.2, the EU Omnibus Directive 2019/2161, and the UK Competition and Markets Authority rules on subscription disclosure.

The general Terms of Service apply to all purchases. This document adds purchase-specific detail.

1. Plans

Premium subscription (auto-renewable)

Prices in countries other than the EU are calibrated by Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe and may differ from the EU prices. The exact amount you will be charged is shown before confirmation.

One-time reports (non-recurring)

One-time reports do not auto-renew.

2. How auto-renewal works

When you purchase Premium Monthly or Premium Yearly:

  1. Payment is taken immediately upon purchase confirmation.
  2. The subscription renews automatically at the end of the period, charging the same payment method, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  3. The renewal price is the same as the previous period's price unless we notify you of a price change at least 30 days before the renewal.
  4. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then.

3. How to cancel

Cancellation is straightforward and you can do it without contacting us:

iOS

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone / iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
  3. Tap AstroNum.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription.
  5. Confirm.

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions.
  3. Tap AstroNum.
  4. Tap Cancel subscription.
  5. Follow the prompts.

Web (Stripe)

  1. Open the AstroNum web app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Subscription.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.

4. Refund policy

Mobile (Apple App Store / Google Play)

Refunds are managed by Apple and Google, not us:

We will support your refund request if you email hello@astronum.me with the order ID; final decision rests with the platform.

Web (Stripe)

EU consumers have a statutory 14-day refund right on subscriptions provided you have not substantially used the Services (Directive 2011/83/EU). Email hello@astronum.me within 14 days of purchase to request a refund through Stripe.

For one-time reports purchased via Stripe, the same 14-day window applies until you open the report — once you've started reading the report, the digital-content withdrawal right is exhausted under Art. 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive. If you have not yet opened the report, you can request a refund within 14 days.

Outside the EU

We are not generally obligated to refund completed purchases. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Email hello@astronum.me.

5. Payment methods

Mobile

Whatever payment method is set as default on your Apple ID or Google account: credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, gift balance, carrier billing where supported. We do not see your payment details.

Web

Credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and any other payment method enabled by Stripe in your country. Card data is handled by Stripe; we never see it.

6. Currency

The currency you are charged in is determined by your Apple App Store / Google Play country setting (mobile) or your billing address on Stripe (web). FX conversion, if any, is handled by your card issuer or platform.

7. Taxes

Prices include applicable VAT / GST / sales tax where required. Apple, Google, and Stripe handle tax collection and remittance for their respective transactions.

8. Family Sharing

AstroNum subscriptions are not enabled for Apple Family Sharing. Each user must have their own subscription.
